PixArk is a voxel based open world game featuring dinosaurs, mythical beasts and tons of cubes. Work by yourself or a tribe of others to survive the hostile worlds. Build a huge base if you can and collect items from within the environment. The game is set to initially be on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview in March 2018. The full game will be available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and Steam PC by hopefully the end of 2018 according to the Steam Early Access page.
There will be a discounted price while the game is in development for those that want to jump in right away. There's a full set road map for creation in regards to traversing the preview program. PixARK will be both an online and offline cooperative game with private or public servers. That's right, enjoy the full experience locally in coop or online as well.
In the game you'll be able to tame creatures both ferocious and cuddly, craft high tech and magical tools or build your own base out of cubes. There will be over one hundred creatures to tame, train and ride. There's a robust character creator with character progression systems, skill trees and customizable stats. The game features an infinite number of voxel based maps and procedurally generated quests. The goal of the game is however up to the player with the option to build epic fortresses, tackle crawling caves or fly majestic dragons in the sky. It doesn't matter, as long as the goal is to survive and have fun.
Aside from survival will be the option to play in Creative mode for a casual time to build whatever you'd like. The game also contains a number of distinct biomes to explore from forests to grasslands and icy frozen areas. It'll take a balance to craft what you need for the different areas as you adventure alone or with others in coop across the massive landscape worlds of PixARK. Above is a screenshot of the game in action and you can check out the PixARK announcement trailer which is included below.
