RBI Baseball 18 Announced, Release Date, Pricing

RBI Baseball 18 has been announced as the latest entry in this annual series that graces all the platforms from consoles to mobile devices. It provides an arcade style of Baseball and with that official announcement, there's a release date along with pricing for the various versions. To start, the cover athlete will be Francisco Lindo, shortstop of the Cleveland Indians. The cover star was announced at Tribe Fest in Cleveland. RBI Baseball 18 will be available on Xbox One; Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, iphone, ipad and a number of supported Android devices.

It will cost $29.99 USD on consoles with the cost on mobile devices being $6.99 USD. All the titles are set to launch relatively close together in March as is the usual tradition. This will be slightly faster for the Nintendo Switch since RBI Baseball 17 arrived in the later portion of 2017. It's also worth noting that this is the first in the series that's entirely developed by Major League Baseball. With each year there comes changes and with RBI Baseball 2018 there will be a number of them. You can find all the highlighted new features for the game below. -Better Ballparks: Witness the enhanced lighting, textures, revamped 3D crowd system and get closer to the details with new dynamic camera angles and specially crafted cinematic sequences across all 30 MLB ballparks.

-MLB Legends: Add some of baseball’s best legends to your Franchise mode and play as any of the more than 100 retired MLB players.

-Online Multiplayer: Jump into ranked and friendly exhibition games with friends and players around the globe.

-Soundtrack: Listen to new tracks and music from more than a dozen popular recording artists.

-Roster Updates: Keep a season up to date with rosters throughout the 2018 season, including within Franchise mode.
