Over 70 Xbox One X Enhanced Games are in Development

There's lots to come for those that have the premium Microsoft console as over 70 Xbox One X enhanced games are in development being officially noted on the Xbox site. There are most likely others that have yet to be announced though that's a solid number joining the 110 noted games that are already improved through enhancements. The games with this type of branding are typically given a boost in resolution with 4k Ultra HD and HDR being key markings that players look forward to. Other changes are usually made though these two are pushed the most.

As it currently stands heading into February 2018 there are a total of sixteen games that are marked as coming soon meaning releases at any point. This includes heavy hitting titles such as Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered and Sea of Thieves. Keep in mind with this coming soon list that any Xbox Game Preview games are considered already available and not included.

While coming soon is great and hopefully in the near future, there are many big games to come. The in development list of confirmed Xbox One X enhanced games in 2018 and slightly beyond numbers 55 currently. I expect that number to greatly increase with new announcements, but with it being so early in the year that's quite impressive. These games will of course have a wildly different assortment of improvements with many not even announcing what tweaks will be present until closer to release. Other massive hits aren't even labeled until they're announced with the latest Call of Duty, Battlefield and whatever other surprises appear at E3 2018 most likely being supported as well.

For now, some of the highlights from the first party include the long awaited Crackdown 3; State of Decay 2, Ashen, Minecraft and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. That's a strong dedication that's close to the console, but the third party options are just as great. Some of the larger games include all the Darksiders game (even the remasters); Black Desert, Biomutant, Far Cry 5, The Division and Rocket League. There are of course many other games that aren't mentioned such as Metro: Exodus and the list goes on with the wide range of over 70 officially in development Xbox One X enhanced games.
