Side by Side Comparison Technical Notes
In what was honestly a very surprising update both next generation consoles, Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 are now benefitting from a smooth 60fps. It’s fantastic to have this higher fluidity be present within the games to offer a much better experience.

You get to feel the combative elements and movement in a much more natural way. Both platforms are also inheriting their last generation upgraded models when it comes to the resolution. That means for the Xbox side of things you’re getting up to a native 4k resolution and with Playstation 5 up to approximately 1600p .

Both are dynamic in their resolution scaling so keep that in mind, but both versions look fantastic in terms of quality and look much better than they ever did. Other than that both versions look quite similar from a visual perspective. I did notice more pop-in PS5 wise, but that is an element that is present on both. You’ll also benefit from faster loading on both ends and HDR support which helps make the colors pop.

Description/Synopsis
This chapter in the long running Assassin’s Creed franchise takes place during the Peloponnesian War. You’re moving between factions of Sparta and Athens with a choice between a male or female perspective that semi-impacts some element of the story.

It’s a massive adventure providing hundreds of hours of gameplay and extra story content that can take things even further past that. You enjoy a variety of locations from open seas to rocky cliff sides and even the odd town or two to venture through. There are large scale war scenarios and many side adventures to take part in. Ancient Greece awaits you.

Hopefully the comparison was helpful in understanding the changes that are being presented between these options. It can help greatly to have a quick visual presentation that’s lined up for a faster viewing.

This side by side comparison should really provide all of the info you need to know when it comes to matching up these choices and giving you the quick facts to see why they’re being placed up against one another.
