This is a technical analysis and breakdown of multiple options going up against one another. Here you can see the Atomic Heart Xbox Series X vs Xbox Series S comparison which will provide a direct visual showcase within the video. This is then filled out with the text based information detailed further down in this article.

This is to provide easier options for viewing, and context for when wanting to find out what exactly is going on between the various selections being shown upon the video. Mostly you get a visual display, and if you’d prefer to just read what’s present you can also see that in action which is a good mix of choices.

There’s not only a quick body of information text, but also a quick table area to provide fast details if you’re not wanting to dive deeply into the topic. With that, you can watch the video presentation right here, or head further back to find out more about what’s being displayed.

Side by Side Comparison Technical Notes
This is actually a fairly straight forward comparison since the games are largely the same between the two versions. On the higher end with the Xbox Series X you get a dynamic resolution from 4k that drops to like 1800p in some situations.

On the lower end with the Xbox Series S you get a dynamic resolution from 1080p that drops to like 900p in some situations. Both target 60fps for the frame rate but you’ll likely notice drops on both, more so on the Xbox Series S. That being said, the higher end console did seem largely smooth while playing. You’ll likely come across some crashes on both sides on this one depending on the scenario.

Aesthetically the game is the same for both, I did however notice some slight increases in foliage density for Xbox Series X. Some trees appear to have leaves that the Xbox Series S version doesn’t have, but you’re very likely not to notice and I only did while really looking at comparable shots that are present like within the video that’s featured above.

Description/Synopsis
You’re just a laid back Major here to make sure things go smoothly. Things of course definitely take a turn for the worst and you find yourself fighting hordes of robots. These mechanical menaces have gone about killing basically everyone and you’re just trying to survive.

Work through linear areas solving puzzles, battling bosses and then you’ll head out into the open world for some scavenging. It features a range of unique scenarios and setups where you’ll try to find out exactly what is happening, and what specifically happened with you. It’s certainly an interesting meld of retrofuture action with complete conflict and gore.

Hopefully the comparison was helpful in understanding the changes that are being presented between these options. It can help greatly to have a quick visual presentation that’s lined up for a faster viewing.

This side by side comparison should really provide all of the info you need to know when it comes to matching up these choices and giving you the quick facts to see why they’re being placed up against one another.
