Here are the specific details in regards to the improvements that have been made for the Battlefield 4 Xbox Series X upgrade. It features Auto HDR support with a 720p resolution at 120fps. The game received a FPS Boost that increased the frame rate from 60fps to 120fps with this being automatically applied to the game and therefore on by default.

It should smoothly hit these targets with the extra power that is present. It is worth nothing that most games do receive a standard 16x anisotropic filtering through Xbox Backwards Compatibility.

Those are the key details that are present. This game is not Optimized on the platform, meaning it wasn’t specifically adjusted for the platform and instead received these upgrades through either inheriting it from the previous generation or automatically. A video showcasing this is found below, alongside a photo representing the game.

Description/Synopsis
Experience large scale war within this fourth main entry from DICE and EA. Enter large scale areas of conflict whether that’s in the single player campaign or the epic multiplayer action. In the campaign there’s an epic campaign battle that’s driven around a drama surrounding the evacuation of American VIPs from Shanghai.

It follows the struggles of your squad trying to escape the region, and the dangers that follow along the way. The multiplayer features large scale warfare in a modern setting across various fronts. You’ll be able to completely destroy a skyscraper or a dam with levolution.

A strange but neat wording to replace that of just breaking down buildings. Go from the simplistic options from the Bad Company series and slightly up it a notch as you break large scale structures in this one that will alter the flow and design of the map. The player count has also been increased here as well.

Hopefully you found these details helpful in regards to understanding how this game is running on the platform. Whether that’s in the boosted resolution (visual fidelity) that’s provided in the filtering, or just generally the extra performance that assists with the Battlefield 4 frame rate to keep it running smoothly.

Certainly great to see what these games can provide on the latest console platform that features full backwards compatible support and will see many new titles release over its lifespan. It should be exciting to see what’s to come for the consoles and how much gaming will change over this generation.
