Side by Side Comparison Technical Notes
This is mostly a comparison to take a look at and compare the cross-gen offerings present within Call of Duty Vanguard. The first is the Xbox Series X version which features a dynamic 4k resolution. There is also a 120hz mode, but it didn’t quite make sense to compare that to the Xbox One version since it just isn’t present there at that frame rate option.

So this focuses purely on the 4k mode, which runs at 60fps just like the base Xbox One version does. Both do exhibit some frame rate drops in campaign, with the Xbox One face more. It also seems like the Xbox One version is less stable in multiplayer and zombies whereas the Xbox Series X version largely feels smooth through it run.

The resolution quality also takes quite a hit on Xbox One being dynamic 900p with the alternate axis being all over the place in visual fidelity. It’s the same game which is great, but you can definitely see the hits that were taken to achieve that. This comparison presents some single player campaign action, multiplayer against stacked bots and a bit of zombies mode.

Description/Synopsis
An alternate history take on World War II action players will find themselves battling cross many unique theaters of war in this expansive campaign. Dogfight over the Pacific during the battle of Midway, airdrop over France or help defend Stalingrad against invading forces and then come together to answer the Call. In multiplayer face off on sixteen regular maps and others, then take it to the zombies in coop action.

Hopefully the comparison was helpful in understanding the changes that are being presented between these options. It can help greatly to have a quick visual presentation that’s lined up for a faster viewing.

This side by side comparison should really provide all of the info you need to know when it comes to matching up these choices and giving you the quick facts to see why they’re being placed up against one another.
