Side by Side Comparison Technical Notes
This is mostly a comparison to take a look at and compare the next gen offerings present within Call of Duty Vanguard. The first is the Xbox Series X version which features a dynamic 4k resolution. There is also a 120hz mode, but it didn’t quite make sense to compare that to the Xbox Series S version since it isn’t really easy to properly display them and the visual difference is less of a gap. While going from 1500p ish to 1080p is quite a big visual change it doesn’t really present the frame rate difference which is quite a gap.

So this focuses purely on the quality 4k mode, which runs at 60fps just like the smaller Xbox Series S version does. Both versions are running rather smooth at this point, but you may exhibit some frame drops lightly here or there but you’re unlikely to notice them.

The resolution quality also takes a hit on Xbox Series S being dynamic 1440p which in all fairness does look fairly good up against the bigger console. It’s far sharper than the Xbox One presentation with the details fully being showcased. It’s actually a really impressive offering and to many it’ll be less noticeable. Just mostly a softer image at times with a bit less clarity to the visuals. This comparison presents some single player campaign action, multiplayer against stacked bots and a bit of zombies mode.

Description/Synopsis
An alternate history take on World War II action players will find themselves battling cross many unique theaters of war in this expansive campaign. Dogfight over the Pacific during the battle of Midway, airdrop over France or help defend Stalingrad against invading forces and then come together to answer the Call.

In multiplayer face off on over sixteen regular maps and others, then take it to the zombies in coop action. The game continues to evolve past this point as well with various seasonal updates which add new maps, weapons and events to take part in. The combat never ends until the CoD cycle is finished but for now the experience grows further offering new ways to battle across distinct fronts.

Hopefully the comparison was helpful in understanding the changes that are being presented between these options. It can help greatly to have a quick visual presentation that’s lined up for a faster viewing.

This side by side comparison should really provide all of the info you need to know when it comes to matching up these choices and giving you the quick facts to see why they’re being placed up against one another.
