DayZ Playstation 4 Single Player

You might be wondering whether or not DayZ PS4 is a single player game. It is not, this is a multiplayer only experience that requires PS Plus to play it. This cannot be played alone, as much as you might like to.

It’s all about social interaction with others, and fending off the hostile zombies out there. If you do purchase a private server from Nitrado, you could have your own world which would somewhat be a single player experience, but it would still be online only.

This certainly requires an internet connection to play, as you’ll need to compete with others. The online servers currently support sixty players at once for regular public matches. Finding a lower quantity server may feel more like a standalone setup, but others might still be present.
