DayZ Xbox One How to Use NVGs or Light Sources

In DayZ Xbox One and Playstation 4 the 1.05 update brings some changes to light sources within the game. To use the NVGs you’ll need to equip them first, after you find them within the large scale environment that is the main landmass. Once you’ve got the NVGs (night vision goggles) equipped you’ll open up the radial menu of the game’s UI.

This is done so by holding “RB/R1” on your controller and a menu will appear for usage. On the top of this specific menu you’ll select the button that says “Toggle Lights”. This will then open up a selection of choices, pick the one for turning on the nvgs. This is the same system for using the head torch within the game, or for turning the car lights on.

Be sure you either have the item equipped, or are in the car for that situation. This will work on either Xbox or PS4 platforms, and is very easy and a simplistic way of turning the lights on, or well toggling them for usage. This should be easy to follow and not at all difficult to follow guide wise.
