Fallout 4 Xbox Mods Guide

With the advent of the Fallout Xbox Series X/S next gen update I’ve been playing a ton of the game and enjoying the plethora of Fallout Xbox mods that exist. It’s quite an upgrade over the Playstation 5 mod offerings as that platform is disappointingly restrictive due to Sony policies which is a shame. Sorry players there, wish I could showcase more options for that console but there just aren’t many.

It’s a limitations thing sadly, as I’d love to present great options for there too. Anyways, I digress it’s time to go over the many mods that I’ve chosen to place on my console to enjoy during livestreaming and other ventures since the update. It’s a split section into two videos. The first is much more general in terms of items to add in.

The second focuses on character bodies and ways to improve the quality of characters. I’ll also be going over both in general discussion chatter as well. So skip to either to watch the video or go forth, and read like folks used to I suppose. I’ll also just place a full list prior for those that want quick notes.

It took quite awhile to curate this selection of mods and as mentioned the ones focusing on the outfits and what not are basically highlighted within the second video down below. I’m now going to highlight and chat about the highlights here that are rather essential and certainly worth the viewing to expand your experience the most. The “Cheat Terminal” is probably the most essential option you can have when going into the wasteland. You can change almost anything, fix problems and spawn things. It’s essential.

I also find “Green in the Commonwealth” to be an incredibly immersion improving mod though it will tank your performance in the downtown. I would recommend pairing it with “WET” which improves the water visuals and “Fix Enhanced Blood Textures” as that makes the gore just that much better in combat. Finally, the “Visible Galaxy 4k” creates a stunning night sky that will take your breath away. Seriously. Oh, and “True Storms” is seriously cool to enhance the world environment.

I’m also really into the whole settlement building scene and while “Homemaker” is awesome it can be buggy on if it works at all. So a more easy going recommendation is “Renovate Furniture” as it adds a good selection of clean building options and works more easily. I guess you could also pair this with “Sanctuary Hot Springs and Settlement” which is a neat little expansion to the original sanctuary area. I enjoy it.

Moving onwards to the second video the “Caliente’s Beautiful Bodies Enhancer (CBBE)” mod is one of the best options you can get for enhancing bodies. It does have an element of sexiness to it one might say which can kill the immersion a tad since all women across the wasteland look gorgeous.

Which is striking in some spots, as in stands out awkwardly. That aside, it does make your character have stunningly improved skin and aesthetics. Also, I just enjoy the look. The “Curvy” choice is my favorite and has the most outfits attached to it as highlighted above. I would also pair this with “Just New Female Animations” so there’s more sway and movement present.

Moving past the body the “Master Chief” inclusion as a follower is amazing, I love it. You can also craft armor with the “Sierra 117 Redux” choice. Another cool thing is the “DMagnus Star Wars Merge” which gives you the ability to craft a wide range of lightsabers it’s awesome. That about summarizes my key items so far, have fun modding and hopefully you find something new to check out. Some other reviews and my Fallout hub can be found below as well.
