This is a technical analysis and breakdown of multiple options going up against one another. Here you can see the Fallout 4 Xbox Series X vs Playstation 5 comparison which will provide a direct visual showcase within the video. This is then filled out with the text based information detailed further down in this article.

This is to provide easier options for viewing, and context for when wanting to find out what exactly is going on between the various selections being shown upon the video. Mostly you get a visual display, and if you’d prefer to just read what’s present you can also see that in action which is a good mix of choices.

There’s not only a quick body of information text, but also a quick table area to provide fast details if you’re not wanting to dive deeply into the topic. With that, you can watch the video presentation right here, or head further back to find out more about what’s being displayed.

Side by Side Comparison Technical Notes
Both of the next generation consoles are inheriting their last gen mid-gen refresh models. The difference here being that Xbox has better mod support in comparison to the Playstation consoles alongside the magic of the FPS Boost system. To get things rolling, if nothing else is applied you get basically a native 4k resolution experience when on the Xbox Series X whereas the Playstation 5 gets a 1440p cap.

Both of them run at 30fps. The Xbox Series X then gets further benefits starting with Auto HDR support. You can also choose to activate FPS Boost which will lower the resolution to 1080p while providing 60fps for a frame rate. If you want to keep the resolution and frame rate while giving up Xbox Achievements you can choose a mod option that provides 60fps and this does largely work quite well.

It’s my personal go to for this one, but of course you make the choices for this game when it comes to how you want to play it. There will be other changes between the versions aside from clarity including the draw distance and object loading which will alter based on which version you select. It is somewhat similar when not going for the FPS Boost, in that regard.

Description/Synopsis
Head out into the wasteland as you search for your child. You remember brief moments as you were sleeping in cryo, seeing the child being taken away. This area of Boston is far different from how you remember, with it being a post-apocalyptic wasteland now.

You’ll meet a variety of characters trying to find your son, making strange choices along the way and possibly aligning with various factions. There are even some rather bizarre secrets to be found out there, as you build up a settlement.

Hopefully the comparison was helpful in understanding the changes that are being presented between these options. It can help greatly to have a quick visual presentation that’s lined up for a faster viewing.

This side by side comparison should really provide all of the info you need to know when it comes to matching up these choices and giving you the quick facts to see why they’re being placed up against one another.
