The install size for Fortnite Battle Royale has been revealed coming in at a really decent size having released on July 25, 2017 and taking up a total of 12.84 GB on Xbox at the present, when installed on Xbox One X it's 14.40 GB of space. The game is also Xbox One X enhanced featuring a push for 4k resolution, frame rate options and no HDR10 support. Fortnite Battle Royale is the spin-off of the core game being a free to play take on the super popular genre of the time. In this mode players jump down in vast numbers and then battle it out for weapons, resources and special items. Once this is done they aim to eliminate one another.
It may not be the most complex of modes, but it's a quick thrill for players. At no cost it's a great way to get into the package as there's also a regular core element of the game to play based around protecting a fort with others. This extra mode has really taken over the experience with tons of content, many updates to improve the map and cosmetics. There are microtransactions focused on skins for items, dances and of course other silly ways to spruce your style. It's a fairly balanced extra offering at no cost as you work in singles, duos, squads and of course other combinations depending on the event. At times they'll do 50v50, other times they might invite Thanos in to snap away. This version also features cross-play between consoles, PC and mobile devices. This feature does not include Xbox One and Playstation 4 directly.
