Genesis Alpha One Biomass Guide: How to Collect It

In Genesis Alpha One, Biomass can initially be a tricky thing to understand. It's a very important substance as it heals your crew, provides life and generally is important in the cloning process. Here's a quick guide on how to collect Biomass within the game.

This can be accomplished in a number of ways. The primary source is from the aliens you meet while on your ship, or during travels. Once these creatures are defeated, some will drop a green goo. They might also drop a DNA looking strand, but you're after the goo in this particular situation. It will not drop after every kill, but there's a chance to see it.

You then use your extraction device to suck it up, it'll be stored on your ship if you're on a planet's surface or directly go to collection if you're on the ship. Once the Biomass has been collected, it's stored in the special biotanks. You can use it for health, or to clone new species.

A sub-feature of this cloning aspect is either directly creating new people to use on your journey, or to research additional creations. This should help you with the possible collection of the substance within the game and how to generally use it. It's not difficult to obtain, but some strategy may be needed in handling it.
