Here are the specific details in regards to the improvements that have been made for the Grand Theft Auto V Xbox Series X upgrade. It should be noted that this is a new version, that has to be paid for separately as it’s not a free next gen upgrade. It will be shown as GTA Online with the multiplayer being the focus instead of the single player aspect. It features HDR support with three distinct modes.

Fidelity is a native 4k resolution at 30fps with some ray tracing effects. The Performance mode is a dynamic 4k resolution at 60fps. The Performance RT mode is dynamic 4k resolution at 60fps with ray traced shadows. Across the modes textures have been improved alongside some smaller enhancements here or there to improve the look of the experience, such as an increased quality of render distance.

Those are the key details that are present. This game is Optimized on the platform, meaning it was specifically adjusted for the platform and did not receive these upgrades through either inheriting it from the previous generation or automatically. A video showcasing this is found below, alongside a photo representing the game.

Description/Synopsis
This is GTA 5, the ultimate expansive open world experience featuring a range of ways to play and enjoy the action. There are three distinct characters that make up the long winding story full of exciting moments to explore the whole way through. It’s all about the criminal underground and the wild choices that go along the journey.

The multiplayer is known as Grand Theft Auto Online which continues to get new content that expands the offerings. Enjoy the massive large scale world with others as you do random missions, heists and other activities together or alone.

It’s quite an offering with many choices in how you tackle the scenarios at play here and level up while earning cash to buy new items and what not. It’s a full of life world that offers many activities and engaging ways to interact with others or to do it all alone. There’s a lot here, with years of updates whether that leans on story or just random other missions.

Hopefully you found these details helpful in regards to understanding how this game is running on the platform. Whether that’s in the boosted resolution (visual fidelity) that’s provided in the filtering, or just generally the extra performance that assists with the Grand Theft Auto V frame rate to keep it running smoothly.

Certainly great to see what these games can provide on the latest console platform that features full backwards compatible support and will see many new titles release over its lifespan. It should be exciting to see what’s to come for the consoles and how much gaming will change over this generation.
