Halo Infinite Unboxing Press Package

To help celebrate the launch of Halo Infinite, a special package was sent over by Xbox. This package featured probably the largest box I’ve received in terms of pure size. It was almost daunting to showcase the box inside the frame that I traditionally use for some of these unboxing ventures. What was included was fairly cool to say the least, and definitely on brand with the franchise. The box was opened via a key that was included within a dossier. This document talked about the magic of the battle pass and the current mission of the UNSC.

Battle Pass. “Though the enemy may see you as a single unstoppable force, each Spartan is unique. Level up your Battle Pass in Halo Infinite to customize your Mjolnir armor, as well as strike fear into the hearts of your foes with new weapon coatings, visual FX, and more.” Those were the full details, followed by the key info as mentioned.

Welcome Spartan. “United Nations Space Command [UNSC] Officials has satisfactorily confirmed your security clearance and identity. Please examine and secure your personalized UNSC mission equipment, you have a high-clearance ID badge, Orion-level customizable equipment, full operation schematics, and other gear for your next Halo mission. Spartans are lethal when solo. But together, a team of Spartans can overcome anything. “Spartans, fall in!

That was followed by a brief disclaimer to mention who provided the gifted kit of course. That once again being Xbox. Alongside this was a heavy special Spartan armor tab numbered 1407 with a QR code that sent me to a streaming setup site, still figuring that one out quite honestly. The first aspect, which was the coolest sort of thing to get was a special Halo Infinite Master Chief helmet.

It was wearable, but what really made it entertaining was that upon lifting the helmet off the stand the music from the game started playing. The iconic theme that was of course upgraded for the release of Halo Infinite. It sort of caught me by surprise, and I most certainly enjoyed that inclusion as I didn’t see it coming. I always love the fun queue of the music, particularly when one would least anticipate it.

Other spots within the box included the proper equipment to really dominate the PC environment. This was with the special Halo Infinite Razer gear. The Razer DeathAdder V2 wired gaming mouse and the Razer BlackWidow V3 Green Switch mechanical gaming keyboard. Razer Chroma RGB included of course. A final clothing inclusion was a UNSC wind breaker, quite nice and rather comfortable.

While it sounds great to read about, the video is of course the most fun element of the experience so I would suggest seeing that to really witness the fun of it all being opened up. As always, it’s appreciated to receive these items and of course, prepare to play Halo Infinite which is free to play for multiplayer. For the campaign, it’s on Xbox Game Pass. A Halo game has never been so accessible. Check out my review of the game below, or the general Halo hub for further coverage.
