Side by Side Comparison Technical Notes
This is one of those comparisons where there’s quite a large gap in terms of the resolution and fluidity. While perhaps somewhat impressive for its time, revisiting Reach on the Xbox 360 was definitely rough as it wasn’t even necessarily fully hitting it’s frame rate target back then.
Now, compared to what’s being included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection there is a huge jump and the game really shines. It’s just such an impressive change-up, that really does shock when viewed together. The 4k 120fps really makes this experience come alive.
You get such a high quality presentation. Each part of the screen is sharp, precise and generally gorgeous. From the rain drenched hills you start out on, to the chilly fortress you aim to arrive it’s all great. The use of HDR is a further benefit to make this one stand out better than ever before.

Your character will follow you across experiences whether you’re playing the story which features coop too, or if you’re heading online to compete with others. It brought in Firefight which was a grand PVE experience, alongside one of the most impressive Forge options ever to grace the series.
