Halo: The Master Chief Collection Why Am I Here? Achievement Guide

This is a quick guide for Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s “Why Am I Here?” achievement which provides five Gamerscore when completed. This challenge requires you to “View this hidden message on the classic Beaver Creek map.”

To do so you’ll need to head to custom games, then select Halo 2 Classic, and then choose Beaver Creek as the map. Load in whatever gametype, slayer is probably the easiest. Head over to the blue base, and walk up the sloped area. You’ll continue past this smooth spot towards where some rocks are settled. Throw a grenade to remove the higher up rocks, notice there’s a small message scribbled there. Shoot this as it’s the special thing you’re looking for.
