Halo: The Master Chief Collection Xbox Text Chat Guide

With the recent addition of a PC release for Halo: The Master Chief Collection the Xbox gamers will also now benefit with text chat options. That’s right, you can now type in using either your controller or a plugged in keyboard during matches.

When playing a game, pause using the start button and then tap the left stick in order to activate the chat pop-up. You can then select which chat channel you’d like to use in order to get started. Send out messages to the entire lobby, your team or even your squad and get the word out there.

I suppose you could also taunt the other team, but be wary of the enforcement team communication wise with what you send out. Whatever the case, get out there and start communicating more effectively Spartans.
