"Island Hunting"

Campaign

Agent 47 is back in action, and continues his hunt with this post-campaign content. This time around he’s sent to Haven Island, an exotic tropical paradise. This is a place of the Maldives, and he aims to cut down on the escape of the partners of Providence.

Definitely an interesting, yet somewhat smaller of a DLC pack. I loved the general environment, and look of the area. That being said, this did feel rather small in comparison to other levels that have been released thus far.

It was more open, smaller areas to hide and perhaps more of a challenge to some. It just didn’t feel as dense, and came across as lonely being a few small little island spots. I worked through it fairly quickly, and I didn’t feel as if I had to really problem solve in this one.

It was still a solid time, and it’s always fun to once again enter the assassin world to take out anyone that I’m set on. There were three targets this time around, and they were just so in the open. I found them rather easily to annihilate, and then slip away from while gathering another costume to blend in with.

The Conclusion

Hitman 2: Haven Island delivers an exotic location to take out the targets on, but it does feel somewhat smaller in scale. It just seems as though they could have taken the concept further, as these maps are usually so dense in content and areas to explore.

The locations you visit were really interesting, just small and everything felt cramped within this one. I wanted more space to go out and explore, but I’ll take what I was given. It’s not at all a bad time, it just could have been expanded upon further. Be sure to shoot the floaty crocodiles for a surprise, that’s all I’ll say there.
