Is DayZ Pay to Win?

You might be wondering whether or not this game has microtransactions or paid elements that might sway the tide for someone that buys into it.

No, DayZ is not a pay to win game on any platform including PC, Xbox One or Playstation 4. It does not have incentives for those that purchase extras in order to give them an advantage while playing. Further details on this can be found below.

This game doesn’t feature any microtransactions at the current point giving no incentives or other benefits to players with money to spend. It does feature a single DLC expansion map that will offer a new landmass to explore that’s called Livonia.

This provides no benefit to players looking to get an edge over the competition. You’ll have to go out there and survive like any other player while being granted no extra advantage if you do happen to have money to spend.
