Is Minecraft Dungeons Pay to Win?

You might be wondering whether or not this game has microtransactions or paid elements that might sway the tide for someone that buys into it.

No, Minecraft Dungeons is not a pay to win game. It does not have incentives for those that purchase extras in order to give them an advantage while playing. Further details on this can be found below.

It has been noted that the game will not have an online store for the general experience upon launch. They are not introducing any sort of extra purchase aspect to the online offerings. They will just be having additional DLC content that provides new maps and experiences to play.

This will mean that you cannot get any sort of edge with extra purchases, as none are available. This is largely due to the loot based nature of the dungeon crawling experience this is aiming to provide. There are no noted plans to offer any sort of extra monetization.

It’s just noted as being extra map based content for players to enjoy later on as an extra cost. There’s a Hero Edition that includes a special hero cape, two player skins and a chicken pet. Check out the hub for the title below, or the general review that’s associated within it.
