Here are the specific details in regards to the improvements that have been made for the Minecraft Xbox Series X upgrade. It features no Auto HDR support with a 1080p resolution at 60fps. It should smoothly hit these targets with the extra power that is present.

It is worth nothing that most games do receive a standard 16x anisotropic filtering through Xbox Backwards Compatibility. It doesn’t have ray tracing support currently despite being showcased with it ahead of launch. It runs off the Bedrock version of the experience providing crossplay between devices.

Those are the key details that are present. This game is not Optimized on the platform, meaning it wasn’t specifically adjusted for the platform and instead received these upgrades through either inheriting it from the previous generation or automatically. A video showcasing this is found below, alongside a photo representing the game.

Description/Synopsis
The ultimate survival game you’ll be granted with multiple ways to play and unlimited creative freedom. Often described as LEGO but virtually and with more to it, you’ll enjoy a plethora of ways to interact with what this experience has to offer. It runs off of Bedrock which means there’s full crossplay with other platforms to enjoy gaming with others.

There’s the regular survival mode where you try to take on the world while managing health or food and with difficulty options on top of that. Going further adventure allows open freedom with set restrictions, then there’s creative to peacefully build whatever you want. Play locally or others, or play online. You can invite others to join, host Realms which are always online worlds to play with others or just do multiplayer servers.

These servers such as Lifeboat will allow you to explore places for PVP or PVE content and have a great time when playing with folks in those worlds. From there you can jump into the Minecraft Marketplace to enjoy a massive selection of content that continues to get new releases. This features everything from texture pack upgrades to mash-up packs and even entirely new story worlds such as Frozen to enjoy.

It’s incredible, and like most of the game continueing to expand over time. The game itself constantly is getting new updates every single year and even more at times. These do things such as entirely changing the caves or cliffs. Adjusting the aquatic world below the ocean or perhaps allowing you to visit entirely new worlds through portals.

There are bosses, various enemies and even friendly mobs to work with. This expansive offering continues to be a defining experience across platforms and on this console platform it’s considered a flagship. There is a lot to love here and the experience is perfect for any type of audience whether that’s young or old.

Hopefully you found these details helpful in regards to understanding how this game is running on the platform. Whether that’s in the boosted resolution (visual fidelity) that’s provided in the filtering, or just generally the extra performance that assists with the Minecraft frame rate to keep it running smoothly.

Certainly great to see what these games can provide on the latest console platform that features full backwards compatible support and will see many new titles release over its lifespan. It should be exciting to see what’s to come for the consoles and how much gaming will change over this generation.

To summarize these were the details on if Minecraft can run on Xbox Series X/S console platforms. You can read a review of a related title below, or check out a game hub for further coverage as well. Don’t forget to check out the video content to see the game in action.
