Description/Synopsis
This is the return of a classic Xbox Oddworld title where you play as this wild Stranger dealing with outlaws. You’re trying to pay for an expensive surgery that’s needed for the lead character to survive. To earn enough Moolah, the character reluctantly takes on very dangerous bounties in order to earn enough.
You’ll be going about taking on scoundrels, discovering hidden secrets and ultimately taking on a different sort of quest that no one saw really coming. The undeveloped wastelands of Western Mudos need some sort of hero, and it’s up to you to eventually take on that sort of task.
Or you can just blast all of the outlaws along the way and take in the smaller bounties, that is of course entirely up to you and the type of character you’d like to be. It’s an older title, but it’s been visually upgraded with various other improvements to that classic experience that is ever so much fun to enjoy and take in as this really is such a unique time. A great game, legacy to the platform and a blast to play.
Hopefully you found these details helpful in regards to understanding how this game is running on the platform. Whether that’s in the boosted resolution (visual fidelity) that’s provided in the filtering, or just generally the extra performance that assists with the Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD frame rate to keep it running smoothly.
Certainly great to see what these games can provide on the latest console platform that features full backwards compatible support and will see many new titles release over its lifespan. It should be exciting to see what’s to come for the consoles and how much gaming will change over this generation.
