This one isn’t too wildly different from its initial release status, but still it’s fun to make the comparison to see the difference in what can be done. First off both are running at 30fps, I do imagine eventually Rockstar will provide some sort of next generation Optimization but for now there’s parity when it comes to frame rate.

With the Xbox Series X version it retains the Enhancement so we’re getting a native 4k resolution with a number of smaller environmental tweaks. Then you have the Xbox Series S version which is a significantly lower resolution quality. This is due to inheriting the base Xbox One console’s graphical options which were quite minimal, yet at the same time impressive for what that particular model had to offer.

That lower resolution makes everything come across as far more blurry. That being said, considering the older hardware it’s actually fairly solid in how well it holds up all things considered. Still, the refined details on the higher end console option are fantastic and it really does look quite gorgeous. The experience will be the same between the two whether that’s in campaign or multiplayer, so that’s somewhat impressive al things considered.

The true ultimate western experience as you explore an absolutely massive environment whether that’s in the regular campaign scenario where you get one lengthy action packed cowboy adventure or the intense Red Dead Online which is an expansive multiplayer setup that continues to be updated with fresh content over time.

Both offer countless hours of game time as you explore what the world as to offer. It’s really quite massive in either regard, whether you’re exploring the countryside for hours by yourself or engaging in various competitive aspects online. You can hunt, you can just ride along in a horse or even battle in the multiplayer which can be an exhilarating sort of time for sure.

It really does offer a lot and Rockstar continues to support the game with various updates that add to the online component just like they continue to do with Grand Theft Auto V and its online setup which is neat to consider for fans of the similar universes that they do provide. Both are long term, and offer an experience that few folks ever do want to leave.
