The install size for Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One X has been revealed coming in at a large size with the enhanced option being available starting November 3, 2017 taking up a total of 30.5 GB on the Xbox Marketplace. The base model size is noted at 51.08 GB prior to the update. It looks as though compression or the new dynamic content download was at play to increase the size (the update) while dramatically decreasing the overall space on the console. The install size was grabbed from the console with the game having been given a decent update and it now showing up under "Xbox One X Enhanced Games" tab. The option to turn on 4k assets for games is present under "Settings - System - Backup & transfer - download 4k game content". This install size should be close to the final number as all the announced DLC has finished releasing and I can't imagine the game will get future updates.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is Lara Croft's second entry in her reboot series as she aims to discover what happened to her father. This has her working through various tombs, an open world chilled forest and fighting back against Trinity. It's seriously one hell of an amazing experience and well worth your time. The entire game is presented at 4k (3840x2160) on Xbox One X with HDR at 30fps. There are however multiple options for how the game plays, there's the High Framerate, Native 4k and Enriched Visuals modes present. High Framerate offers a higher frame rate for a smoother gameplay experience, believe 60fps at 1080p. The Enriched visuals has the game feature a lusher and more realistic world with 4k resolution at 30fps. Native 4k resolution where the game displays in native 4k resolution on 30fps. These are some great options for whatever sort of Tomb Raiding experience you want Lara Croft to adventure through.
