It’s always hard to find new games to play and in particular to find games of a certain offering. Within this listing the goal is help you find or well identify some new titles to check out within the selection that you’ve been searching for. With the Top 10 Xbox Series X Optimized Games you’ll likely come across something that should be worth checking out or at least an offering that you hadn’t heard of prior.

At least, that’s the main focus of these listing options and most of the time these aren’t done in a particular ranking order to instead offer you just a choice list of games to play if you find them of interest. That’s typically why people love these sort of write-ups with a visual component too which is nice.

You’ll get the ranking bolded, a video to showcase the gameplay in action which I almost always suggest checking out for sure and then a brief description for each of the games accompanying the ranking in case you’re curious to find a little bit more about them. It’s all for context and further understand for what the games might provide you. Whatever the case, happy gaming and hopefully this is something you can find helpful.

#10: The Callisto Protocol

While I can’t say I’m a fan of this game it is a technically really impressive offering. You get some insanely high quality facial animations and design across some truly gruesome horror filled environments. It really does hit the mark is using the hardware effectively.

#9: Metro Exodus

With some global ray traced illumination you get some simply stunning scenes across a range of environments in this more open world approach to the series. It’s not wildly large in scale still feeling intimate like past titles, but you get a bit more of a play space to work around within.

#8: Microsoft Flight Simulator

The entire world is available for you to fly a variety of planes or well aircraft in. Literally the entire world, it’s very impressive and looks great. It can also go up to 4k 120fps if you use a VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) enabled screen which is awesome.

#7: Halo The Master Chief Collection

The entirety of the core story of the Master Chief is available at 4k 120fps with upgraded visuals and the entire package is one cohesive offering. It’s really quite a marvel and showcases exactly what the heart of the platform used to be. It was always about Halo.

Xbox Cyberpunk 2077

#6: Gears 5

This fifth main entry in the series was one of the first, and still is one of the best showcases of what optimizing games for the hardware can do. The campaign looks stunning with higher than PC settings enabled alongside getting a buttery smooth 4k 120fps option for the multiplayer.

#5: Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

This entry in the Call of Duty franchise really aimed for deeper levels of realism across the experience whether you’re pushing higher quality visual assets in campaign or giving yourself 120fps action in the multiplayer component.

#4: Forza Horizon 5

The open world landscape of Mexico is simply stunning and available at a high frame rate which is awesome for a racing game of this design. It’s just super large in scale offering many unique locations, challenges and interactions to take part in along the way.

#3: A Plague Tale: Requiem

Amicia’s second adventure is really quite a showcase of visual technology and improvements. With the 40fps mode you get that at a fairly nice frame rate in an experience filled to the brim with rats to deal with and other gorgeous materials and textures at play throughout.

Xbox The Witcher 3

#2: Cyberpunk 2077

The world of Night City really does come alive with a higher frame rate, better textures and a more immersive high quality world with the Optimization improvements. It really has come quite a way and it actually does now look or well feel proper at this point for the platform.

#1: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

This upgrade was mighty offering a higher frame rate with many improved elements across a massive fantasy open world. It’s time to once again waste hours hunting monsters as Geralt while you take in what’s a really serene world. It’s always a grand time to play this game, but those visual improvements really do take it up a notch which is lovely.

That’s the list for the Top 10 Optimized Games to play and hopefully it did indeed lead you towards trying out something new. That’s always the hardest part of entertainment, coming across something you didn’t find out prior or in searching for something distinct to read and take in.
