Side by Side Comparison Technical Notes
This compilation features the likes of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The two were developed and released closely together with the latter being a standalone spin-off. That means the technology at play here is essentially the exact same. We’re seeing three modes between the options that are present.

That includes Performance, Performance+ and finally Fidelity. The performance mode provides a balance of resolution and frame rate at 1440p. Then there’s Performance+ which drops the resolution down to 1080p and bumps up the frame rate to a buttery smooth 120fps.

It’s a great level of fluidity to enjoy, especially in an action game but there is quite a drop visually. Finally there’s Fidelity that increases the resolution to a native 4k while providing a lower frame rate at 30fps. All three versions features HDR support, and have other additions such as slightly adjusted environmental.

Description/Synopsis
In Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End we find the Drake brothers working on what could be the biggest treasure yet. This is more of an intimate dive into some of the back story lore of the series while showing an older hero and finally wrapping up the series while setting the scene for what’s to come in the future. It continues the initial trilogy, and while also providing some definitive conclusion as well.

With Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Chloe teams up with a mercenary named Nadine in order to search for a special tusk. Explore a more open type of experience to once again solve puzzles, enjoy some action and continue the series with over the top set pieces which are somewhat expected from this franchise. This basically exists by itself, but provides further context into characters you might be familiar with from the main line series.

Hopefully the comparison was helpful in understanding the changes that are being presented between these options. It can help greatly to have a quick visual presentation that’s lined up for a faster viewing.

This side by side comparison should really provide all of the info you need to know when it comes to matching up these choices and giving you the quick facts to see why they’re being placed up against one another.
