You might be wondering about the Xbox Series X and whether or not it will support the Kinect. It will likely not support the peripheral, as this was something that was abandoned with the release of the Xbox One S. The latest generation console is meant to support all past Xbox One accessories, and that would technically mean the Kinect.
You would have to get the special cord that allows it to work on newer consoles in order for that to happen. It would then take up a USB port in order for it to work. It also wouldn’t connect naturally into the UI, but should work for the games that are backwards compatible.
It also won’t receive any additional titles, aside from possible future Just Dance releases that come yearly. Hopefully that was helpful in understanding the support for this aged but excellent device that was abandoned by Microsoft. Looks like a strong list that will be expanded upon towards the release.
