This is a brand new first portion of a three part campaign for Zombie Army 4: Dead War that continues the events of the story after it had concluded within the core package.

In this experience you’re delivering the artifact to a quaint little town in order to discover more information about what exactly it can do. This will send you through an interesting facility, some town streets and a very creepy ancient area.

It’s not a bad expansion upon the experience, adding some quality extra time and a location that feels expansive. It’s quite linear, with some minor open sections to battle within. It was fairly fast paced, with fewer times where you’re having to protect a location in order to progress.

You get to learn a little more about the situation involving this latest rising of the dead and it’s interesting that they’ve chosen the DLC to further the lore towards what I imagine will be a follow up many years down the road.

The Conclusion

Zombie Army 4: Dead War Terror Lab is a solid continuation of the story providing a neat little town area to battle within as you wage war against the undead. Take the artifact with you and attempt to discover more of its hidden secrets.

Alongside this DLC some other content was released as well including another Horde map, a character and some extra weapons. This expands the game in an interesting way and it’s actually rather important in regards to continuing the story. If you enjoyed the main campaign you get some extra enjoyable time here and it’s always fun to blast away the undead as a squad.
