This 4k Blu-Ray movie bundle is worth the buy with fun and adventure the family will be sure to love. Kids will definitely enjoy the special features that come along with this and both of these features can be viewed on the Blu-Ray and 4k discs.

Being able to watch this movie at home brings all the action, adventure and laughs right to your living room. Watching it in theaters was great but there is just something special about being able to watch this movie in the comfort of your home. You get to see the CG animal work close up and they did an amazing job. It’s hard to tell they aren’t actual animals (aside from the talking of course).

Dolittle 4k Special Features

The bonus features on this disc were nice to watch. They include the following “Talk to the animals”, “Becoming the good Doctor”, “RDJ & Harry: Mentor and Mentee”, “Anotnia Banderas: Pirate King”, “The Wicked Dr. Mudfly” and “A most unusual house”. The features allow you to see how they made this movie work and how they brought the characters to life.

You also get to see the interaction with the cast, especially Robert Downey Junior and Harry. They have a great relationship and it really showed through on the screen. The other feature I found really interesting was the most unusual house. In that one they show you how they had to account for the fact that wild animals “lived” in the house. They had to make sure the house was animal user friendly and made machines that the animals could use to make tea, get food etc.

The Conclusion

If you want a movie that the whole family will enjoy and that you can watch at home this movie is worth the buy. The 4k Blu-ray package has amazing picture, great CG animal work and amazing colours, you will notice the difference.

I liked this movie when I saw it in theaters and I enjoyed it just as much, if not more watching it at home. The humour alone makes this film worth the watch and is a movie I’d tell my family to go see and I loved the different aspects in the film and the lessons you can take away from it.
