Star Wars: The Last Jedi 4k: Real or Fake?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is real 4k shot at 35mm and 65mm negative. The film also features HDR, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision providing brighter, deeper and more lifelike colors. This movie will take full advantage of your 4k TV and even look better when viewed at a lower resolution when using the 4k disc/digital copy. The release to home video was on March 27, 2018 with a run time of 152 minutes. The disc includes a selection of special features and bonus content including 14 deleted scenes.

UHD Main Feature: 2160p Ultra High Definition 16x9 2:39:1 with Dolby Atmos and English 7.1 for sound. The Special Features are not in 4k and don't support HDR.

About the Film

Following the events of "The Force Awakens" Rey has been sent to find Luke Skywalker on a long forgotten island. The Jedi Master must once again enter the fold as the battle of light against dark continues. On the other hand the Resistance is on its final legs desperately running from the oncoming First Order fleet. It's not looking good as some heroes head out for alternative options while the core team just tries to keep alive. Kylo continues his advance commanding The First Order and preparing for the final elimination of all main opponents within the galaxy.
