Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an epic animated series that bridges the gaps behind Episode II and III. It largely follows Anakin Skywalker and his apprentice Ahsoka Tano. Other key characters involved are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Captain Rex from the clone troopers. The episodes focus on various events and help expand the lore of the universe. It covers many years, and shows growth in characters that the films couldn’t cover during the period of time. It ran on regular TV for a number of years prior to becoming a Disney+ original for a final season. Keep in mind that a shorter series did run prior to this with the same name.
