The Outer Worlds contains a main narrative that’s divided into core quests. There are seven of these within the game. There are of course dozens, upon dozens of side quests to take part in that expand gameplay potential.
The main list is likely to expand with DLC content, and that will be added to the listing as time goes on. This is the full listing, without descriptions. Some areas of the story contain multiple chapters, so you may do a few or more on a single planet.
All The Outer Worlds Main Quests
1 – Stranger in a Stranger Land
Description: Phineas needs your help to set things right in Halcyon, but you’ll need transportation first.
2 – Comes Now the Power
Description: Workers are abandoning the town of Edgewater. Reed Tobson, Edgewater’s administrator, wants to force these deserters to return to town by shutting off their power.
3 – Passage to Anywhere
Description: In order to revive your fellow colonists standard in hibernation , Dr. Welles needs you to travel to Stellar Bay on the terraformed moon of Monarch, Monarch is interdicted by the Halcyon Holdings corporate Board, so you’ll have to procure a Navkey through unofficial channels.
4 - Radio Free Monarch
Description: The information Broker promised to find the location of the chemicals need by Phineas. Problem is, he hasn’t delivered the intel on time and hasn’t provide an explanation. Travel to Monarch, find him, and obtain the data.
5 - The City and the Stars
Description: Now that Phineas knows Minister Clarke’s been hoarding dimethyl sulfoxide in Byzantium, he just needs you to get to the city to steal it. Easy.
6 – Kept Secret But Not Forgotten
Description: Phineas Welles has asked you to ship the Hope to Terra.
7 – Brave New World
Description: Phineas has been captured and brought to the prison planet of Tartarus, where the Board intends to interrogate him. Now it’s up to you to infiltrate the prison and rescue Phineas before the Board can enact its plan to cull Halcyon’s population.
