LEGO Ice-Cream Truck Review

For Christmas I received the lego ice-cream truck 60253 (41min build) I greatly enjoyed building this bright and colorful truck. While I am not a fan of sets with lots of stickers to apply I can appreciate how the pops of bright shiny sticker color help to make this vehicle modern and complete.

The advertising and giant melting popsicle on the roof would entice any minifigure to purchase an ice cream or popsicle on a hot day. The functionality of this set is superb including a sliding window to open when selling and close to stop your ice cream from melting.

The backside of the truck swings open smoothly to allow for a minifig to hop in the back of the truck to sell ice cream to the kids. Minifigures included are a skateboarding boy, an ice cream truck worker and a brown dog ready to catch any dropped frozen treats.

The Conclusion

The LEGO Ice-Cream Truck set 60253 is a solid option providing an authentic vehicle. It has two set appropriate minifigs with it and a good dog addition.

The large sign is great, matching the theme of this setup with this being a set that stands out from other options. A good build providing a solid amount of construction time despite the quantity of pieces that were included within the option.
