The Minecraft $1,000,000 Hide & Seek is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Pixels & Blocks this pack provides a mini games experience based around hide, and seeking. A common mode to play, but this one is unique in that it allows players to have NPCs join into the mix.

This is great for those that don’t have friends to play with, or want extras to hunt after. There are three fairly large areas to play in, with a number of players loading onto the areas in order to either seek, or hide. It works well, and offers a good amount of replay value. The environments are aesthetically pleasing, and the layouts are generally well designed. It also adds a bit of a run option as a couple swings might be needed to catch someone.

Once a hider is caught, they become a seeker and assist in catching everyone else that is left hiding. With this being a mansion the themes carry that luxury style, and the maps are filled with little spots to hide in. It’s quite well done, timed and rolls through smoothly. If you’re lucky and win you’ll get sprinkled with rewards and the option to buy special bonus decorative items for usage. Minecraft $1,000,000 Hide & Seek Edition Review

The Conclusion

This $1,000,000 Hide & Seek from Pixels & Blocks is an interesting map that delivers a lot of replay value in a well designed area that’s great for individuals or multiplayer action. I really appreciated having the NPC inclusion, and there’s a pile of them in the main courtyard area to make it feel lively.

This element of having others without the use of needing real people is well done and hopefully other maps support this option for other mini games in the future. This is fine for those wanting to play with real players, and either option is solid. There’s some neat level design here across the various maps, and a reward system for extra motivation. I generally enjoyed this, but generally wish it didn’t have such a silly name associated with it.
