The Minecraft Adventurer's Dream Mashup Pack is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. This particular pack was fairly great, developed by Noxcrew they aimed to create a fantasy experience. This pack is mostly just a world as it barely crosses the line for being a mashup by having only a few skins. That aside, the world aspect of it is actually incredible. What's presented is this large fantasy island filled with various regions and ten skill testing dungeons to complete. These are marked by beacons and completed through a unique item drop-off system. I was impressed by the creative use of biomes and how they all mashed into each other without it looking odd.
There was a fantasy forest with unicorns, an intense parkour floating island area and a skull temple of doom to name a few spots. The quests were fun and had just the right amount of challenge for our team. Aside from doing the core story there was also hidden nuggets to collect and fun stories to read about while we hunted for hidden treasures. It's a couple hour play and we had a great time tackling it. I will however comment that the ending was a bit rough in how the final battle was handled. Not to spoil things, but the system has it set where a boss will keep spawning in if touched from a certain point and lower end devices within our group were struggling with it.
The Adventurer's Dream Mashup provides a fantastic fantasy world to explore, a quality fantasy skin pack and just a few skins. It's got a great quality to the pack and my group enjoyed playing through it. The ending was a tad bit difficult with how it was setup, but other than that an easy play. The system for dropping off items was well designed and something I haven't seen before in Minecraft. I look forward to seeing what else Noxcrew comes up with as their creations have been fantastic thus far.
