The Minecraft APK is something you might have heard of at some point. I'm sure many people out there are curious what exactly this is. So basically in order to pirate, or steal games on Android based devices an APK is taken so that it can be downloaded. Basically a file that contains the game and can be read on Android devices. These are provided on various sites and will grant you access to a full Minecraft download.
This isn't necessarily a good thing to do, there are a couple reasons why. The first is that it might not be a safe file to download from certain sites. Another issue is that it won't be kept up to date, a problem as this game is constantly being tweaked with new content being added regularly. You'll miss out on things.
You'll also have issues with accessing certain online content. Needless to say, we don't support this method of playing Minecraft and suggest against it. It's not a terribly expensive title on mobile devices and well worth it for the constant updates.
If the small price is too much, Worldcraft is an alternative option. It might be tempting to use this apk download method to get Minecraft Android edition, but really not worth it. Pocket Edition is a great thing to check out, I believe it's best to do so legally and proper. This support of a purchase will help ensure future updates and assist Mojang in development of new features.
