Minecraft Asylum Review

The Minecraft Asylum is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Project Moonboot this pack provides a medium sized world for you to explore. It carries a creepy theme, this is easily noticeable right from the start. You’ll get thrown into a dark and quick selection of little narrative building segments. This lasts a couple minutes as you move through this pitch black area to understand the world you’re about to witness.

Once this segment is complete you spawn in front of the asylum and are generally given some loose quests you can complete. The medium sized area is open for your exploration. You can either go into the large scale mansion area or head into the town which features a fairly decent selection of houses to visit. These are furnished and there are hidden surprises as you look around within them. Minecraft Asylum Review

The Conclusion

This Asylum from Project Moonboot is an alright map, it presents a fairly decent world to explore with some distinct setups. There’s a neat little narrative driven part to the start of this, then it just becomes an exploration based venture. You don’t have to do the quest, and really aren’t driven to do so. It’s a neat area for potentially a survival world but it is an enclosed area with distinct tree types.

They nail the spooky aspect of this quite well as it aims to be somewhat horror based. The start is certainly dark and creepy, they honestly should have leaned into that horror structure a bit more. They could have had a really neat, distinct and different horror based linear adventure world here.
