You might wonder what exactly a "Blast Furnace" does in Minecraft and it's rather simple. These are special work station blocks that are used for ore smelting, armor and tools production. They’re very specific in nature, yet neat to use within the game to create special creations. The Blast Furnaces can be broken only through the use of a pickaxe, if mined without it will break into nothing.
These are slightly difficult to craft items requiring iron ingots, a furnace or smooth stone in order to create them. You can find Blast Furnaces naturally generating within Armorer houses of the villages. For a fun fact, they have a hardness rating of 3.5 and a luminance of 13 when it is active. You can also change the name by using a an anvil prior to placing it. More details and crafting guide below.
Uses and Other Details:
To essentially summarize, the latest item is mostly decorative in nature. It provides functionality to customize your tool and armor experience within the game. To use you’ll open the table up like usual and it’ll contain slots. You can choose from a few cooking style slots to produce items. When selected, you’ll get a preview of the item after the materials have been applied. Once you’re happy, just take the preview and you’ll have what you wanted to create.
The Blast Furnace crafting creation is as follows. The top row; Iron Ingot | Iron Ingot | Iron Ingot, second row is Iron Ingot | Furnace | Iron Ingot, and the third row is Smooth Stone | Smooth Stone | Smooth Stone. Keep in mind that the furnace is the basic model and then you wrap a layer of essentially ingots over top of it. That block is made of cobblestone, the furnace if that wasn’t clear.
