It’s actually very easy to invite friends to play with you in Minecraft Earth, here’s how to do so. When in your build plate you can hit the “invite friend” to generate a QR code. Friends nearby that also have the game installed can scan this QR code using the “Join Friend” feature from the main Minecraft Earth map area and they’ll be placed into your little created world.
From there, you can both interact with your build plate just as you would any Minecraft world. You need to be in the same location to build together however. When you (the owner of the build plate) stop playing, all other players are disconnected so it’s not like a Realm. You can both invite friends to join you in diorama build mode, and in life size play mode.
Other Friend Details
Remember that friends can damage what you’ve built, make sure you trust them when you’re adding people in. This likely just a local system, so it’ll be people you know that you’re inviting.
It’s still best to be cautious and act with safety when inviting other people to your little created build plates. This will also use the Xbox Live friends setup, like the regular version of the game.
