The Minecraft Feed the Slime is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Razzleberries this pack provides an open world environment with a free building section in the middle. The core focus of this world is based around the collection of slimes. You’re given a tutorial to understand the mechanics, and then freely sent out into the world to start hunting.

There are four areas to explore, with each of them featuring a distinct environment and a unique selection of slimes. They’ve made some adorable little slime mobs to gather, and you do so with a fishing rod. Once you’ve wrangled one, it’ll appear back in its own special little cage within the building area. You will have to make sure that area is tidied up however, as the previous owner left those housing areas in shambles.

You’ll need to patch those up, and the main way to do so is to sell slime to get emerald in order to buy materials from the local traders. You can also breed the slimes with hearts. Aside from the standard method of catching slimes, you can gain bonuses by completing missions. These are essentially little side quests that randomly pop-up while you’re playing. This element adds some extra value to what you’re doing. You could actually spend a number of hours out there playing if this is your sort of experience. Minecraft Feed the Slime Review

The Conclusion

This Feed the Slime from Razzleberries is a generally great map, it presents something you could spend a number of hours playing, even going further if you love it. There’s quite a fair bit to do, and free building. I wish that the exploration areas were a bit larger. The map certainly has a lot of depth to it in terms of the quality and detail, just didn’t feel quite as expansive as it possibly could have.

When you look around it feels massive, but once you dig into the areas they feel more condensed than I would have liked. Still, the areas are very visually appealing. The slimes are adorable, and varied. They’re fun to capture, harvest and deal with. I could see a particular younger audience absolutely loving this. It feels like Slime Rancher, which is a bonus in my opinion. The tutorial could have been a bit clearer, or at least some of the setup could have been. We had some awkward sort of mishaps in finding things during it.
