Minecraft Furniture Review

The Minecraft Furniture is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Shapescape this pack provides a small world with decorative furniture to look at. It’s really nothing special, and honestly very disappointing. It’s impressive that this pack contains over fifty-two fresh models of furniture, but they’re effectively useless. You can’t take them to other worlds and the actual designs are things you can just walk through.

There’s no hit detection and that’s honestly rather lame. You can easily switch between creative and survival in this though, you get little pods to throw to do so. At the start you’ll spawn in this small showcase area that feels like Ikea. You get an idea of what can be done and then you can enter a main little block area. There are some houses on either side of the road and a culdesac at the end of it to your right. The houses are all empty, so I suppose you can build whatever you’d like within them. The Conclusion

This Furniture from Shapescape is an awful map, it presents a simple concept that doesn’t really deliver on anything useful. It would have been neat to take these models into other areas, and while I understand there may be limitations it just makes this pointless. I mean, you can’t even actively use the furniture as you just phase through it like it’s not even there.

The map itself really doesn’t have much to it and this generally feels like a novelty as opposed to being something of value. It just, really doesn’t make much sense and I don’t see the point in picking this one up at all. I applaud the quantity of models and they do look really good. Props to the creation there, they just need a focus.
