Minecraft HeroFair Review

The Minecraft HeroFair is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Norvale this pack provides a fairly large amusement park to explore alone or with others. It starts off with players at a bus, you then ride to this large dock type area which I believe was aiming to be a boardwalk. What greets you is this large entry gate with the title of "Herofair". Once past the gates you grab a map and get a layout of the whole area, it has a number of rides and attractions to take part in. You can go on a couple roller coasters or even enjoy the drop of doom.

The rides all actually do function with the mini games being even more creative. I do wish there were more rides however as it does feel limited. It's large in the sense that it takes up space yet empty at the same time. There's not exactly a theme here with it being a random assortment of areas. Some of the buildings you can't enter and that takes away from the immersion. To the side of that, the mini games are very clever as is the purchase system for foods or goods. You can earn tokens and buy things, it's quite something.

The Conclusion

This HeroFair from Norvale is an alright map, it presents an amusement park to enjoy alone or with some friends. The rides do all actually function with some being great. Others are just alright, it's weird you have to go through line-ups for some. The design could have used some more style as the area generally feels bland.

The rides are fun, we had a good time venturing through it yet the park could have used more of a distinct personality. The mini games were great, I particularly loved the duck hunt. There's a neat VR one too and some parkour options for fans of that game type. There are some neat ideas present here, would like to see it expanded upon in the future, at least the core concept of it.
