These are some rather dangerous foes that you’ll find in the Nether. You cannot actually tame these, or even breed them. You can however barter with them which is a form of making peace with this mostly passive mob. If you’re wondering what passive means, it’s that they’ll just roam around doing their thing unless you provoke them.
That is a bit different in this situation though as you’ll need to be wearing a piece of gold armor for them to be passive. If you’re not, they’ll attack you for sure. If you do want to sort of get them in a passive barter state you can either give them gold, or drop it near them.
They will be thrown into a trance for a few seconds, likely throwing some sort of random item towards you as an exchange. It’s also worth noting that these are hunting creatures. They’ll try to find Hoglins if hunger, and dance if they’re successful in their hunt. They will also attack Wither Skeletons if they come across them while playing.
These mobs have eight eights each, with baby Piglins randomly spawning just like the adults do. The baby Piglins might also ride about on Baby Hoglins which is adorable. These creatures are able to open doors, and will become a zombified Piglin if they end up in the regular world or the End.
If a regular version of the creature sees a zombified one, they will run away in horror of the sight. If you give them some gold armor, they’ll look at it and eventually end up wearing it. I hope this guide on how to Tame Piglins and breed them in Minecraft was helpful. Check out our hub for further guides and coverage of the block based game.
