Minecraft Island Vacation Review

The Minecraft Island Vacation is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Shaliquinn’s Schematics this pack provides a fairly straight forward location to visit. I’d place this more in the realms of what would be a role playing environment. At the core of this island design, is a massive hotel.

It’s an impressive build with each room being decorated, there’s even a fancy gardens at the top which was a nice touch. The pier is also nice, with a Ferris Wheel and some small games. None of these can be played or used, but aesthetically they’re well done. Around the hotel in the back of the map is pathway that can be toured. There’s a large scale roller coaster as well which was enjoyable. Besides that, on the other side of the path is a mini golf course.

So there’s some content involved here, just nothing too insanely in-depth. It feels somewhat limited ride wise, and it’s mostly a hotel and more sort of area. Again, it leans into that sort of role playing element which is fine. If you’re looking for a secluded spot with lots of dense detail, this will fit the bill for that particular situation. The Conclusion

This Island Vacation from Shaliquinn’s Schematics is a fairly simplistic map, it presents an island resort to chill out at. You get the roller coaster ride, some golfing and then a bunch of little shops on the pier to walk within. Behind the hotel you’ll find a small pool, and they do nail the aesthetics here map wise. That aside, there isn’t much to this.

I don’t quite see the point in this one unless you desire it to be a little role play spot for your group. It does look good, with a nice sense of density yet at the same time I wasn’t exactly thrilled by it. I did enjoy the roller coaster trip, always find those fun and this one was solid when it started going.
