Minecraft Moana Skin Pack Review

The Minecraft Moana Skin Pack by Mojang brings us twenty five distinct skins to dress characters in an array of fun costumes. This particular pack is directly from Mojang meaning it'll have the premium level of quality to it and be a completely stuffed medium pack. In comparison to other efforts it does seem rather small in quantity yet it does carry a higher coin cost which is odd. I will however note that it does perfectly emulate the spirit of the animated Disney film. You get all the core characters, some of the more villain type options and some strange creatures. They really did go all out with some of the wild aquatic characters with the fish monster being amazing in that regard. You see that quality repeated in many of the other characters offering a full 3D design to them and some true depth which is rare within the skin packs. There's also some solid variation within the sizes of the characters and it was fun to see such a range in the designs.

The Conclusion

The Moana Skin Pack is a solid addition to your collection if you're a fan of the film. I felt the designs were rather great regardless going well with the aquatic update. There's a rather unique cultural style to them that follows the theme of the movie. This is distinct within the game, at least with what the store had at the present time. It's got a strong set of options whether you're looking for people or creature based skins. I did feel the cost was rather high in comparison to the quantity of skins though the work here is once again excellent. Mojang continues to deliver with the level of depth and precision within these skins. I'm very surprised by how they continue to craft the smaller details and add some levels of opacity as well since you can see through the occasional creature.
