Minecraft Papercraft Adventure Review

The Minecraft Papercraft Adventure is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Jigarbov this pack provides a very fascinating twist on the core game. To start, the entire experience is presented as a series of dioramas that were created by a class of kids. To match this child based enthusiasm, each and every mob has been become sticker-like. That's right, as pictured you get some amazing looking designs for every creature in the game. This is a wonderful thing to take in and the looks are so creative, they've really done something completely fresh and new with this game.

On top of that, you're working through a series of worlds that feels like something a classic platformer might feature. You're attempting to collect stars from the dioramas by completing challenges, or finding hidden secrets. The more stars you find, the more areas you unlock. These sections are varied and there are a pile of them to playthrough. They all have a unique biome, theme and general challenge. If that's not enough, there's a survival mode present as well. This can be played alone, or in a group with easy ways to access each section.

The Conclusion

This Papercraft Adventure from Jigarbov is a perfect map, it presents something entirely new and changes the core concept of the game entirely. This is definitely one of best releases in the store and a prime example of the creative designs I'd like to see created in the future. There's an actually loose narrative here, general voice over that assists in guidance and a unique way to travel around that actually makes sense.

You get a good feeling of progression, but have complete freedom in how you actually conquer the various dioramas. The styles for the various mobs are amazing, this is a distinct and very special way to do something new. I've never seen anything like this and it helps add an extra element of quality to the pack. They've also made a very vast world as this takes place within a classroom, this adds an extra level of immersion. While we've seen some great adventure maps in the past; none have balanced the story, design of the world and added extra creativity so well.
