Minecraft Pyramidion Review

The Minecraft Pyramidion is a Store Community World that offers a completely fresh adventure within the game. Created by Razzleberries this pack provides a mostly linear narrative driven adventure through a mystical desert area. It takes just over an hour to complete based on puzzle skills and is guided by minor bits of dialogue. It's actually rather interesting with a number of complex puzzles and an attempt at putting together a sense of mystery.

That being said I did find myself lost at times despite the clear paths, mostly in terms of not knowing what I should do next. This happened a few times where I'd backtrack and realize I was supposed to go somewhere else with no clear direction. It's a neat map for sure, they have some creative things to explore. I was mostly hoping that there'd be more direction, as it doesn't seem to be going for a complex maze setup despite possibly having that feeling.

The Conclusion

This Pyramidion from Razzleberries is a decent map, it presents a fair quantity of game time and an interesting adventure for solo players or groups. It was a tad dark at times which made it difficult to get going, but the real issue was just not a true sense of where we were supposed to be going. I thought the narrative could have been developed further as well considering the really cool setting. They nailed the aesthetics of the environment they were going for and they created some beautiful monuments. I was really impressed with the design of the outdoors and interior chambers. The puzzles were also rather interesting providing a good challenge and having a mix of what you were supposed to solve to continue. The fireworks were a nice touch too.
