Minecraft What Turtles Eat to Breed With

You may be wondering what one of the latest critters in Minecraft consumes for food, that being the large Turtles. These humble and passive creatures eat Seagrass. This is a type of food that can be obtained only by using shears, the smaller seagrass will give a single item whereas the larger one will grant two. This food source can be found at the bottom of the ocean.

You use this material to feed the Turtles, when you give it to two of them they'll mate and breed. This will grant you a puffier turtle that will lay eggs, those eggs will eventually hatch. They do so on a beach, so it may take some time to happen. The turtles will be guided by seagrass as well if you need to get them somewhere, they move faster in water than they do on land.

Uses and Other Details:
You're able to keep multiple turtles around by breeding them, but they won't do too much for you. They're quite interesting to have, and perhaps a highlight for your beach area. They need a lot of protection to survive, be sure to give them a hand if you have the time. The seagrass is a food, and friend of these passive mobs within the game.
